ACO Grease Management Systems
Gravity Grease Separators
Introduction
A significant problem for kitchen and food preparation areas is the collection of fat, oil and grease (FOG) within the drainage system. These substances not only have a major effect on the performance of any internal or local external drainage system, but can also have a major impact at regional level: water pollution, obstruction of drainage infrastructure and reduced efficiency at sewer plant are all possible occurrences.
ACO Building Drainage offers a wide range of grease trap systems
to assist with prevention. The systems provide hygienic, effective
methods of dealing with these substances with a selection of
accessories to suit all applications. There are a number of factors
to be taken into account when deciding on a suitable system.
Three main stages are part of the selection process for the right
grease management system:
Stage 1 - Consider wastewater contents
Stage 2 - Establish separator size
Stage 3 - Select separator type
Choice of two types grease separators:
- Grease separators for ground installation - ACO Building Drainage offer 2 families of below ground grease separators to BS EN 1825 both with Load Class D400 access covers to BS EN 124 - ACO LIPUTEC and ACO ECO-FPI.
