An innovative new shallow deck galvanised steel surface water drainage system, developed byACOBuilding Drainage, theUK's leading specialist in the design and manufacture of drainage systems and corrosion resistant drainage products, has been launched to offer unrivalled drainage performance. Called Deckline 125, the new system provides a cost effective, quick, simple and 100% water tight installation in a wide range of applications.

Deckline 125 is extremely versatile, thanks to a wide choice of jointless branch, outlet and corner units in channel lengths of up to 3m, as well as grating options for most applications. As a result, this new V-bottomed, 50mm shallow invert surface water drainage system is ideal for applications with shallow structural slabs, where excavation depth is limited or construction restrictions exist, such as external cantilevered walkways, podium and car park decks. Just as importantly, security is always guaranteed as grating locks are provided as standard for additional protection, with two locking points per metre.

The lightweight design of the Deckline 125 system enables both simple and complex drainage networks to be built into concrete, tiled, and resin floors, without the need for onsite fabrication. The system is manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised steel to BS EN ISO 1461:2009, ensuring tough, long lasting corrosion resistance to minimise maintenance requirements and lifetime costs.

The fully certified and CE marked Deckline 125 is the only system of its type to be tested and approved to BS EN 1433 Load Class C250 linear drainage channels for collecting and removing surface water in areas with pedestrian and vehicular traffic, eliminating the need for additional validation, while guaranteeing complete peace of mind throughout the life of the system.

The 110mm diameter vertical spigot outlets facilitate quick and easy connection to underground pipe systems to speed up and simplify installation still further, while the optional in-line foul air trap and debris sieve available complete this versatile and cost effective drainage solution.
